Hii! My name is Rae, and I'm a strategy nerd, book hoarder, pixel art enthusiast, and lifelong gamer who grew up on Neopets, LiveJournal, and Xanga. This site is my appreciation for the old web!

I also love web design, planning systems, coffee, and collecting cozy games. You'll find all kinds of stuff here — book reviews, gaming shrines, blog entries, and whatever else I feel like making. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

hello world! my site is live!

I finally did it — I made my own website! After years of missing the old web (RIP my Xanga, my LiveJournal, my Neopets petpage...) I found Neocities and it felt like coming home. This is going to be my little corner where I can be as extra as I want. Expect pixel art, book reviews, gaming shrines, and way too many sparkles. ✨

currently reading: house in the cerulean sea

Only a few chapters in but already obsessed. The worldbuilding feels like a warm hug. Also been reorganizing my bookshelf by color and it's giving me so much serotonin. Might do a bookshelf tour page next...

y2k aesthetic inspo dump

Deep in the Neocities rabbit hole and the creativity on here is unreal. Shoutout to cinni's dream home, petrapixel, and sakura dreams for making me want to spend 100 hours on CSS. The old web didn't die — it just moved.
